Tipton is located about 3 miles northeast of the Borough of Bellwood, viewed here from the top of Brush Mountain at the Skelp cut looking northwest. The building complex at the lower left is DelGrosso Foods. Their sister company, DelGrosso’s Amusement Park, is located immediately above the complex, nestled in the red and orange-leaved tree grove. (The blue structure barely visible is the Zyklon roller coaster.) Near the middle of the photo appearing as a light-colored oval is the amusement park’s Tipton Waterworks, and the sprawling building to the right is the PPG Industries plant that manufactures automobile windshields among other glass products. Interstate 99 follows the foot of Brush Mountain, hidden from view by the trees in the foreground.
